Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Business Administration courses at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, evaluating student progress, and maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community.

This is a part-time, semester-by-semester position, contingent upon student demand. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Management, Business, or Administration, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Management or Business.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach at various times and locations, including day, evening, and weekend classes. Instructors are required to meet with classes at all scheduled times and be available to students outside of class instruction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Business Administration courses at a variety of times and locations
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material

  • Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
Requirements

  • Master's degree in Management, Business, or Administration, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Management or Business
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people
