We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Mathematics courses at Lone Star College. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging lessons, evaluating student progress, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field, with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics or Statistics. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics courses at various times and locations
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field
- 18 graduate hours in Mathematics or Statistics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled classroom and/or lab environment
- Hours will vary depending on class time
Salary and Benefits:
- $53.82 per contact hour
