We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, efficiently processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Engage customers in friendly conversation, making eye contact and smiling to create a positive shopping experience.
- Accurately and efficiently scan customers' grocery items and complete monetary transactions.
- Properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in the condition they left the store.
- Proactively offer additional assistance or services and thank the customer for shopping at Wegmans.
