About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at the Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong patient-centered approach, and a passion for delivering high-quality care.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will work as a Nurse Specialist in our Ambulatory Care Clinic, providing direct patient care to a diverse population of Veterans. This role requires a skilled practitioner who can assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various medical conditions, as well as educate them on self-care and disease management.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients with complex medical needs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Educate patients and their families on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-management strategies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and safety
Requirements
  • Degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN) from an accredited institution
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in acute or ambulatory care settings
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Benefits
