Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Simmons Foods. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our refrigeration equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Repair and maintain refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
- Assist in the installation and testing of new equipment
- Collaborate with engineers and vendors to resolve equipment issues
- Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required; refrigeration certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in refrigeration maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and equipment
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and physical demands. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in cramped, elevated, and wet areas.
