Job Summary

PNC Financial Services Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Professional to join our team. As an Investment and Insurance Strategist, you will be responsible for consulting with clients on investment and insurance strategies, as well as developing financial plans to help them achieve their goals. You will also be responsible for growing and retaining an investment and insurance book of business, and owning the client experience by efficiently handling sales and service, identifying sales opportunities, and making referrals to internal business partners as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients on investment and insurance strategies, and develop financial plans to help them achieve their goals.
  • Grow and retain an investment and insurance book of business.
  • Own the client experience by efficiently handling sales and service, identifying sales opportunities, and making referrals to internal business partners as appropriate.
  • Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development and client networking.
  • Develop and implement investment and insurance strategies for clients, and determine the best products to support such strategies.
  • Present sound financial recommendations and guidance to clients, and establish individual financial plans based on client financial needs and objectives.
  • Monitor financial plans and recommend changes as needed.
  • Actively and regularly coach and educate branch staff and internal business partners to identify investment opportunities, and drive investment education and visibility among branch staff.
  • Lead the branch team on actions to achieve investment results, and show urgency with activities and lead by example.
  • Have regular and effective communication with internal and external partners to build strong relationships that drive referral activity.
  • Meet with branch manager and other internal business partners to communicate and review business results and pipeline management, and meet service level agreements on lead and referral follow up.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of financial services and products, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Additionally, you will need to have a strong understanding of PNC's values and culture, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
