Job Title: Medical Scribe

Join Jobs for Humanity as a Medical Scribe and support our Norfolk office in providing exceptional cancer care and blood disorders services.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately chart patient encounters in real-time using our Electronic Health Record system.
  • Generate referral letters for physicians and manage medical documents within the EHR system.
  • Assist with e-prescribing and data management tasks for physicians in real-time.
  • Apply knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to transcribe and proofread medical dictation.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous medical scribe experience is strongly preferred.
  • Clinical/healthcare experience in oncology/hematology is a plus.
  • Typing at least 60 wpm is essential.
