Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver - Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will assist individuals with their personal hygiene, support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs, and help them achieve their developmental goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with their personal hygiene and daily living activities
  • Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
  • Help individuals achieve their developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
  • Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities

Requirements
  • Education: No High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: No experience required- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
  • Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
