Job Summary
Medline's private fleet of professional drivers, MedTrans, delivers lifesaving medical products to commercial and residential customers. Our fleet features 1,500+ trucks with newer equipment, and we manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally, providing 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a straight truck to transport medical products to local customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Build positive relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support.
  • Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck, adhering to safety regulations.
  • Safely operate a Class A or Class B vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route.
  • Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries and providing in-person support.
  • Communicate with the dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
  • Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years tractor trailer driving experience.
  • Class A CDL; Licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
  • Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
  • Clean driving record with no serious violations.
