Positive Behavior Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Positive Behavior Technician to join our team at Lakes Country Application Consortium. As a Positive Behavior Technician, you will play a critical role in implementing behavior support plans using discrete trial training, shaping and chaining, prompting, and differential reinforcement.
Responsibilities:- Implement student behavior support plans with fidelity inside the students' environments, including classrooms, recess, lunch, and PE.
- Collect data, including frequency, duration, Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence (ABC), and interval data, to assist the PBI, MTSS team, and BCBA in developing and adjusting student behavior support plans.
- Follow expectations prescribed by PBI, MTSS team, or BCBA for student programming, progress monitoring, and data collection.
- Participate in professional development opportunities in the area of Special Education and/or Regular Education Standards-Based Education.
- Contribute to the implementation of special projects when assigned.
- Provide general student supervision as needed.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 40 hours of applied behavior analysis training prior to hire or within four (4) months from hire date.
- One-year experience working with complex behaviors in the field of human services, education, or a similar field.
- Strong content knowledge in core academic areas (literacy and math).
- Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience serving diverse populations.
- Associates degree in education, child development, psychology, or a similar field.
- Experience managing intense behaviors.
- Experience working in a school setting.
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RtI).
