Role Summary: The CNC Brake Press Operator will be responsible for the efficient setup and operation of CNC-controlled forming machinery within our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, modify, and oversee CNC programming.
- Configure, fine-tune, and operate press brakes to execute various forming and bending tasks on different gauge materials, adhering to precise dimensional specifications.
- Position, align, and secure forming dies while adjusting the ram stroke according to material gauge, angles, or contours; set stop gauges to meet dimensional criteria, templates, or samples.
- Determine the bending sequence for multi-pass operations involving a series of bends at varying angles and planes.
- Adapt setups to create unique shapes with single or compound radii, angle flanges, etc., requiring meticulous adjustments to prevent surface imperfections.
- Interpret drawings, specifications, templates, and samples for accurate execution.
- Utilize measuring tools such as scales, squares, protractors, calipers, micrometers, and angle/radius sweep gauges to ensure precision in setup and verification of work.
