Harlingen Medical Center is a Level IV Trauma Designated hospital that specializes in a range of services, including Cardiovascular Care, Emergency Services, Neuroscience, Orthopedic Services, Radiology, Rehabilitation Services, and Surgical Services. Our hospital has a strong commitment to providing patient-focused care and has been recognized for its excellence in healthcare.

**Responsibilities**

As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, or special procedures according to department protocols. You will also be the first point of contact for customers and will be successful in meeting their imaging needs. Additionally, you will participate in quality control activities, assist in maintaining performance improvement programs, and oversee the radiology area and/or staff in the absence of management.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state
  • Appropriate national certifications in two modalities
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certification
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations
  • One year of acute clinical radiography experience (preferred)
  • Proficient computer skills
