Maintenance Associate Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the building, conveyor system, grounds, and utility systems at the direction of management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations to ensure continuous production operations.
  • Direct and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and contractors to maintain the building and grounds.
  • Develop and implement daily and weekly cleaning schedules to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Coordinate repair services for equipment and vehicles, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Perform outside maintenance tasks, including grass cutting and snow removal.
  • Other duties as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No minimum experience required.
  • Results-oriented professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently, and meet deadlines.
  • Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of safety regulations.
Competencies:
  • Accountable for meeting own targets.
  • Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
