The Speech-Language Pathologist will work closely with students, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized plans to address communication deficits and disorders. This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication needs and develop individualized plans to address these needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including speech, language, and communication interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address communication goals.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the planning process.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in ongoing professional development to ensure high-quality services.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • NC Department of Public Instruction G License.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families from diverse backgrounds.
