Plant Operations Technician

At Applied Medical, we're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Plant Operations Technician to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair air compressors and related equipment, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Adhere to and promote safety protocols and regulations within the facility, ensuring a secure and compliant working environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex operational challenges and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
  • More than five years of related experience in mechanical systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Experience using hand and power tools, with the ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
  • Utilize experience and expertise in compressed air maintenance and repair, as well as modifying, installing, and repairing copper piping through brazing and other techniques.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with central plant and manufacturing plant operations, as well as knowledge of California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal OSHA) safety requirements.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision in maintenance tasks.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
