Project Engineer Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support our Project Manager and Superintendent in achieving their goals throughout all phases of a project. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing the submittal process, RFI process, and change order proposal process.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage the submittal process to ensure timely and accurate submissions
  • Coordinate the RFI process to resolve issues and ensure project progress
  • Develop and manage change order proposals to meet project requirements
  • Provide research and backup support to the Project Manager and Superintendent as needed
  • Assist in maintaining a high level of safety on the project site
  • Collaborate with the estimating department to solicit subcontractors and manage project plans
  • Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and vendors
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects to meet deadlines
Requirements:
  • Strong negotiation and leadership skills
  • Understanding of accounting, financial statements, job cost, and cash flow
  • 4-year degree in a construction-related major
  • 2 years of project engineering experience
  • Ability to pass a drug test

Please note that the salary range for this position is $65,000 to $85,000, and this position is eligible for a target bonus.
