Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Deburr Operator to join our team at Harlow Aerostructures LLC. As a Deburr Operator, you will be responsible for grinding, filing, sanding, and polishing metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grind, file, sand, and polish metal surfaces to a specified shape and smoothness using grinding hand tools
  • Clean interior surfaces of holes using a reamer or burr whip
  • Lift and position metal parts on a bench
  • Remove burrs and smooth out contoured surfaces with power tools
  • Verify dimensions and radii using micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers
  • Ensure an organized and clean work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned and necessary
Requirements
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Experience a plus but not necessary
  • Ability to use vibratory hand tools for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to use necessary hand tools to properly perform the job
  • Must be able to burr parts in a safe and efficient manner
  • Exercise good housekeeping practices
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions involving wrists, arms, and hands
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a parts finisher, preferred
