We are looking for a skilled Medical Lab Professional or a recent graduate in Medical Laboratory Science to join our dynamic team. As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will work in a vibrant, patient-centered environment focused on enhancing health outcomes.
Work Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday to Friday; 4 PM to 12:30 AM with rotating weekends
Department: Microbiology
Location: Not specified
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess specimen suitability for testing based on established criteria
- Conduct both routine and advanced technical procedures
- Oversee and troubleshoot laboratory instruments
- Prepare, evaluate, and test new reagents
- Deliver precise test results to support patient care
- Execute preventive maintenance and quality assurance protocols
- Assist in the processing of specimens
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a life science or Medical Technology
- Prior experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred
- ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist or eligibility to sit for the exam
- Competence with computer systems and laboratory information management
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational abilities
- Willingness to work overtime or different shifts as required
