The position will report to the Accounting Manager and will be based at the corporate headquarters.

Compensation: $70,000 - $77,000 annually
Work Schedule: First Shift, 8 AM - 5 PM
Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions:

  • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Facilitate accounts payable processes and assist with accounts receivable as necessary.
  • Prepare and record journal entries.
Financial Reporting:
  • Support the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Produce financial reports and analyses to aid in strategic decision-making.
Account Reconciliation:
  • Conduct bank and account reconciliations to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Compliance and Controls:
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Expense Monitoring and Analysis:
  • Track and analyze expenses against budget, including credit card transactions.
  • Support cost control measures and financial forecasting efforts.
Process Enhancement:
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements in accounting practices.
  • Contribute to the refinement of accounting systems and procedures.
Collaboration and Support:
  • Work with various departments to resolve financial issues and provide assistance.
  • Help prepare tax filings and financial statements.
