Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any concerns or complaints related to delivery inquiries, changes, and issues.
- Delivery Coordination: Schedule and dispatch delivery vehicles to ensure timely and accurate delivery, adjusting schedules as needed based on operational needs and customer requirements.
- Operations Monitoring: Track vehicle locations using GPS and other tracking systems to ensure on-time deliveries, addressing any delays or issues promptly and communicating updates to customers and drivers.
- Driver Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with drivers to provide instructions, address concerns, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules and company policies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, routes, and any incidents or deviations from the planned schedule, preparing and submitting reports as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Quickly and effectively address any operational issues, such as vehicle breakdowns or route changes, to minimize disruptions to the delivery schedule.
- Experience: Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role preferred, with experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry being a plus.
- Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in using dispatching software and GPS tracking systems.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive customer experience.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support delivery schedules.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15.00/hour and a dynamic work environment that values teamwork and customer satisfaction.
