Job Overview

Our research team comprises over 250 experts from diverse scientific and engineering fields, collectively spearheading significant research initiatives aimed at decarbonizing energy production, accelerating renewable energy adoption, and fostering electrification to create a modern grid capable of supporting a zero-carbon energy future.

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties
  • Innovate and develop new technological concepts with a strategic focus on computer vision algorithms, system design, and integration.
  • Lead and actively engage in design, architecture, and development projects.
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts across the computer vision spectrum to promote new ideas and applications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience, Master's degree with 5 years of experience, or PhD with 2 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a focus on computer vision software development.
  • Proven track record of successful execution in relevant projects.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is mandatory; sponsorship for employment visas is not available for this position.
  • Extensive experience in systems architecture, design, and integration.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++/Python.
  • Strong background in software engineering and architecture.
  • Experience in developing camera and sensor drivers.
  • Significant experience in integrating software into operational systems.
  • Familiarity with robotic perception, sensor fusion, and computer vision technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and independent decision-making skills, particularly in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be willing to undergo a drug test and background check as part of the hiring process.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

The compensation range for this role is between $98,400 and $145,000 USD annually. The specific salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education, and work location. This position is also eligible for a performance-based bonus.
