We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Associate to join our team in CT AI reconstruction. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to conduct research and contribute to the planning, development, and transition of technologies from concept to products and/or services for GE internally and external clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in CT AI reconstruction, leveraging AI technologies to improve image quality and reconstruction algorithms.
  • Prepare and participate in project and technical reviews, providing expertise to help resolve technical challenges across the organization.
  • Collaborate in the development of internal and external project proposals and initiatives, protecting intellectual property through patents where appropriate.
  • Foster a multidisciplinary and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Requirements
  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Math, Physics, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in CT systems and AI-based reconstruction, system design, image reconstruction, detector physics, and/or modeling.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in medical imaging, radiation physics, and image reconstruction, with a focus on CT, PET, and/or Nuclear, or X-ray imaging systems.
  • Hands-on experience in evaluating and optimizing medical imaging systems or Monte Carlo modeling.
  • A proven record of research demonstrated by peer-reviewed conference proceedings and journal publications.
Desired Characteristics
  • Experience with NIH, ARPA-H, or other government-funded programs as a co-investigator or Principal Investigator.
  • Proficiency with software development in MATLAB, C++, and/or Python.
