Energy Counsel

Walmart is seeking an experienced Energy Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our Energy Legal team, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's energy use in regulated and deregulated markets.

• Provide transactional support and counsel to corporates, renewable energy companies, or utilities on renewable energy projects.
• Lead negotiations, drafting, and critical review of commercial legal agreements for projects and deals that support Walmart's energy use.
• Partner with the business to implement the company's energy efficiency strategy and meet its renewable energy goals.
• Manage outside counsel and consultants to ensure effective and efficient delivery of legal services.

• Law degree from an accredited law school and 4 years' experience in law.
• License to practice law in at least one state.
