El Camino Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team. As a member of our professional healthcare team, you will provide general clinical nutrition care to patients on units where you are trained and competent to perform.
Key Responsibilities- Identify patients with increased protein and/or energy needs or other medical/nutrition problems that may place them at nutrition risk.
- Develop and implement nutrition care plans, including continued monitoring, assessment, nutritional support, discharge planning, and patient/family education of all patients with special nutritional needs/support.
- Participate in performance improvement and special projects in assigned areas of responsibility.
- Provide nutrition counseling to patients in the outpatient setting, including those with specific medical problems and those wishing to promote optimal health.
- Must be a Registered Dietitian, registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as defined by the California Business and Professions Code, and be current with CDR portfolio.
- Experience in developing patient education materials and teaching community nutrition education programs preferred for Clinical Registered Dietitian (outpatient) role.
- Experience in acute healthcare facilities preferred for Clinical Registered Dietitian (inpatient) role.
- Competitive salary range: $64.21 USD Hourly
- Sedentary work environment with occasional lifting or carrying up to 10 lbs.
