Position Summary:
We are in search of a highly qualified and seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to take a key role in enhancing the electrical systems of our Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs).

As a senior figure within our engineering team, you will spearhead the design, development, and refinement of electrical systems that are vital to the success of our pioneering tunneling initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and evaluate electrical systems for the operation of TBMs and transportation systems.
  • Supervise the creation of all data acquisition and power electronic systems, including both custom and commercial off-the-shelf solutions.
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical structures, software applications, and civil engineering frameworks.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with medium and high voltage power systems, including transformers, switchgears, electrical panels, motors, and motor controllers.
  • Fundamental understanding of both analog and digital circuit design.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 8+ years in an electrical engineering capacity or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in medium and high voltage power distribution.
  • Experience in designing transformers, switchgears, high voltage panels, and enclosures suitable for harsh environments.
  • Familiarity with production techniques for medium and high voltage products.
  • Ability to create power distribution single-line diagrams.
  • Experience in generating requirements for outsourced electrical designs.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation, and data acquisition technologies is advantageous.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a proven track record of effective collaboration across engineering disciplines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • High voltage safety training.
Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to travel on short notice up to 20% of the time.
