We are seeking an experienced product leader to elevate the maturity of our product management, design, and operational processes.

This role will oversee our Product Management Team, working closely with our CEO and The Content Team Lead to shape and influence product and design decisions across all product features.

This position is remote with some travel required for onboarding, team meetings, and professional development events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development Oversight: Manage the product development cycle for your team, from idea generation through the release of new features, including defining requirements, prioritizing tasks, and managing timelines.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the product management team to develop cohesive product strategies, set metrics, and achieve team objectives.
  • Strategic Influence: Drive key product decisions, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor the impact of product releases on user experience and business outcomes.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine product management systems and processes to enhance business and product results.
  • Professional Development: Support the growth of team members through focused mentorship and development opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with other teams and stakeholders to integrate projects seamlessly into the product lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing high-performing, inclusive product teams.
  • Product Development: Over 5 years of experience with user-facing software products, especially in startup or agile environments.
  • Process Improvement: Proven ability to iterate on and improve team systems and operational processes.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate and build effective teams.
  • Data Analysis: Advanced skills in data analysis and familiarity with user data platforms.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Product Management: More than 5 years as a product manager with expertise in UX and UI.
  • Inclusive Design: Experience creating accessible and inclusive designs for diverse users.
  • AI Integration: Familiarity with AI and generative design tools, and their application in product design.
  • Educational Background: Advanced degree in Design, User Experience, Psychology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Professional Certifications: Certifications in Scrum, Agile, CPM, or related areas.
  • Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using project management and design tools such as Asana, Figma, Miro, and Zoom.
