Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete the rooming process and take vital signs, vision, and/or hearing tests, record patient data in eCW.
  • Perform in-house labs, quality control, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Draw blood and collect specimens as directed by providers and process accordingly.
  • Conduct routine tests in areas such as serology, hematology, chemistry, histology, and cytology.
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist/chaperone during examinations and treatments.
  • Keep clinical areas stocked and in good order, ensuring all dated material is current and disposing of outdated supplies.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and logs according to organizational policy and/or manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform basic clerical work, answer phones, and communicate problems/concerns to nurses.
  • Ensure all appropriate logs are maintained and keep records for laboratory tests.
  • Perform EKGs.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma/GED with Medical Assistant Training Certificate.
  • Associate's degree with Nationally Certified Medical Assistant Certificate (preferred).
