Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QC Inspector to join our team at Spirit Airlines. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and serviceability of our aircraft, engines, and components.

Responsibilities
  • Perform inspections and quality control checks on aircraft, engines, and components to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct preliminary, in-progress, and final inspections to identify and address any issues or defects.
  • Review and verify maintenance documentation and records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to provide guidance and support in maintaining and enhancing compliance to programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Manager Quality Control.
Requirements
  • A&P License and ability to demonstrate use of A/P within 36 months.
  • 3 years maintenance experience on FAR part 121 certificated aircraft of 50 or more passenger aircraft.
  • Ability to hold and maintain Required Inspection Item (RII), Airworthiness Release Authorization (ARA), and Material Inspection (MI) authorization.
  • Knowledge of GMM, Maintenance Programs, and other related company manuals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Part 121 Regulations.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Aviation Management, Business, or related field.
  • Experience on Airbus A320 Fleet type aircraft.
  • Inspection experience under Part 121 Regulations.
