Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Soliant Education in the vicinity of El Cajon, CA. Job SummaryAs a COTA, you will collaborate with our team to:
- Assist in conducting assessments, supervised by licensed OTs, to identify physical and developmental challenges.
- Support the creation of individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, client goals, and OT guidance.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions as directed by licensed OTs, encompassing occupational therapy services tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to provide support and education on occupational therapy matters.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or a related field.
- Valid and active state certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
- Previous experience working as a COTA or in a related role is preferred.
