Houston's oldest hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center, is seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team in the Emergency Department. As a seasoned healthcare professional, you will be responsible for providing top-notch medical care to patients in need of emergency attention.

Salary:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Care Specialist to work night shifts (7p-7a) with possible rotation on weekends. The ideal candidate will have strong technical, clerical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills relevant to patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse accepted by the Texas State Board of Nursing
  • Certification requirements as defined by the certification policy
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
