Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a faculty position in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at Washington State University. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical anesthesia service and clinical instruction to professional veterinary students, interns, residents, and graduate students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical anesthesia service for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital
  • Teach principles of anesthesia to third-year DVM students using innovative simulation models
  • Conduct research and scholarship in the field of veterinary anesthesia
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of a residency program in veterinary anesthesia
  • Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ACVAA) or European College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (ECVAA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
