Lead Applications Validation Engineer

As a Lead Engineer in Applications Engineering, your main responsibility will be to design, implement, and execute Validation Tests and Failure Analysis on Content Solutions products. This is crucial to ensure that operational performance and user experience align with established specifications.
You will collaborate closely with both internal and external teams to establish test conditions and profiles that reflect both current and historical end-user application scenarios.
The ideal candidate is someone who demonstrates a strong passion for product development and quality assurance, possesses laboratory experience, and exhibits a self-motivated work ethic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage test modules throughout the development lifecycle: from requirement analysis, drafting test plans, and firmware requirement specifications, to conducting reviews, implementing tests, and performing failure analysis.
Work in conjunction with firmware teams on feature designs to pinpoint critical risk areas and develop a thorough testing strategy to validate features across various interfaces (SATA, USB, Thunderbolt).
Design tests to comprehensively validate firmware features as part of a premier validation team.
Engage in validation initiatives with internal teams to enhance testing capabilities, efficiency, robustness, and automation.
