As a Research Associate, Bioanalytical Development Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting and supporting experiments to achieve specified deliverables and timelines, requiring high precision and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, analyze, and troubleshoot assays to detect proteins and mRNA from experimental cell cultures and animal tissues.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists to work on several different projects, utilizing top-tier experimental and analytical facilities.
  • Maintain accurate and well-organized laboratory records, including electronic notebooks.
  • Develop and optimize detection and functional assays of novel targets using automated western blot, Elisa, MSD assays, and qPCR.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in molecular biology or a related field with 1-2+ years of lab experience in the biopharma industry.
  • Hands-on relevant experience in protein and nucleic acids.
  • Strong knowledge of basic principles of protein extraction, RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, Elisa, and automated Western Blot analysis using Jess system.
  • Hands-on experience with automated western blot, Elisa, and MSD is highly desired.
  • Excellent organizational and oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within groups and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
