Job Title: Café Service Staff

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Café Service Staff to join our team at The Frick. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with food preparation and have a working knowledge of our current menu.
  • Service tables in a professional, efficient, and friendly manner.
  • Welcome guests, answer questions, and direct guests to the counter to order.
  • Process payments and handle cash using our POS systems.
  • Perform opening and closing sidework, including cleaning the kitchen and front of house.
  • Assist with dishwashing and keep beverage areas stocked and organized.
  • Service bar duties and stock supplies.
  • Work with the Café Manager to handle any problems arising with visitors to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Treat visitors and colleagues with respect and courtesy at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to fostering a workplace culture of diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion.
  • Possess an enthusiastic, professional, and positive attitude.
  • Serving experience preferred.
  • Flexibility in working a varied schedule.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Clearance of a criminal background check.
  • Become RAMP and ServSafe certified if not already (paid by The Frick).
