Job Summary

Albany Medical Center seeks a skilled Clinical Nurse I to join our General Surgery/Trauma team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures as required by company policy and regulations.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document patient care as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
