Position Summary:
The primary function of the Claims Assessment Specialist is to evaluate complex commercial liability claims on behalf of our esteemed clients. This role involves ensuring the timely adjudication of claims while adhering to industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough analysis and processing of claims, developing effective action plans to achieve timely resolutions.
2. Negotiate settlements within established authority limits.
3. Maintain clear communication regarding claim status with both claimants and clients.
4. Report claims to excess carriers and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in claims management or a related field, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
- High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Relevant professional certification is advantageous.

Licensing Requirements:
- An active adjuster's license is highly preferred.
