About the Job:

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Radiation Technologist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Bryan, TX.

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of $95,000/year, paid time off (PTO) after 1560 hours, highly competitive pay, best-in-industry medical, dental, and vision benefits, short-term disability, 401(k), aggressive refer-a-friend bonus program, and reimbursement for licensure and CEUs.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have experience working as a Radiation Technologist and hold certifications such as BLS, Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT), and Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N). The role involves administering medications, monitoring patients' responses, and performing various tasks under close supervision. The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, technical/motor skills, mental requirements, and sensory abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members
  • Coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Administer medications as ordered with proper documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure
  • Perform on-call duties with a 30-minute response time
  • Maintain room cleanliness and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
