Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and priorities for care, and develop and implement individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including delegating tasks and supervising other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Medication Administration: Utilize critical thinking skills to administer medications safely and effectively, and document patient information accurately and in accordance with current standards and policies.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery, and acknowledge physicians on the unit as needed.
- Quality and Safety: Demonstrate a commitment to quality and safety by identifying and reporting potential risks and hazards, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Education: Current Alabama RN license or a current RN multi-state license.
- Experience: Experience preferred, but new graduates are accepted.
- Certifications: BLS certification or eligibility/capability to certify within 90 days.
