Job Overview

Position Summary: Join a team of dedicated professionals at Germfree, where we focus on developing groundbreaking solutions that have a real-world impact. As a Program Coordinator, you will oversee the comprehensive direction, timely execution, and financial management of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct all aspects of project management for Germfree initiatives, including engineering, production, installation, testing, commissioning, and project closure.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing collaboration, client satisfaction, adherence to schedules, and budget management, while embodying the Germfree Core Values.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients.
  • Facilitate Project Kickoff, Design Review, Production Coordination, and other necessary cross-functional meetings.
  • Implement the Germfree communication strategy for meetings and documentation to keep clients and project teams updated.
  • Engage with engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, installation specialists, customer representatives, general contractors, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Interpret and analyze moderately complex documents related to facility projects, including agreements, design bases, user requirements, specifications, surveys, and drawings.
  • Serve as the point of contact for escalated issues from the project team.
  • Manage project documentation in line with company and client standards, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Monitor project progress against established goals, budgets, and timelines, reporting status and variances to senior management bi-monthly.
  • Review and prepare project scopes, resource requirements, cost estimates, work plans, quality control measures, and risk assessments as necessary.
  • Identify subcontractors when necessary; conduct standard requests for proposals; perform bid analysis and recommend resources.
  • Support project installation teams by providing onsite guidance and direction to meet project objectives, with some travel required.
  • Evaluate change requests to assess impacts, make recommendations, and prepare change orders, ensuring client approvals are secured.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement action plans to minimize or eliminate risks.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting regulations, technical manuals, specifications, and drawings.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, planning, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Able to lead effectively within a diverse team environment.
  • Knowledgeable in code compliance.
  • Familiar with construction components, processes, and methodologies.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to convey information accurately in both verbal and written formats.
  • Comfortable presenting to management and clients.
  • Strong command of the English language is essential.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with scheduling software such as P6 or equivalent.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of clean construction standards is a plus.
  • Experience in cGMP Pharmaceutical Project Management is highly desirable.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Project Management is preferred.
