Job Summary

Tarkett is seeking a skilled Maintenance Apprentice to join our team in Middlefield, OH. As a Maintenance Apprentice, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on various pieces of equipment and machinery, as well as participating in on-the-job training and classroom instruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery
  • Participate in on-the-job training and classroom instruction
  • Learn to use, repair, install, read, and troubleshoot electrical, programmable logic controls, machine repair, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Maintain equipment and perform necessary PM-related activities
  • Learn to read and comprehend technical information
  • Organize and maintain a well-kept work area
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be physically capable of performing the work of the occupation with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Ability to comply with existing safety standards
  • Proven critical thinking skills
