Product Inspector

We are seeking a skilled Product Inspector to join our team at Ampac Holdings, LLC. As a Product Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our flexible packaging products.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect bags for defects, such as open ends, doubles, triples, crocked folds, turn backs, turn under, loosely sealed folds, improper sized gussets, and lack of anti-skid or lacquer.
- Set aside defective bags and notify the Bottomer Operator of any issues.
- Reclaim bags using a glue gun.
- Count and record the number of bags stacked on each pallet for the shift.
- Assist other inspectors with sweeping and inspecting the area.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure continuity of production.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to bend, twist, and kneel.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand continuously for 2 – 3 hours.
- Ability to perceive colors.
- Manual dexterity.
