Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images of designated anatomic areas, while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce diagnostic CT images of designated anatomic areas as prescribed by established scan protocols.
  • Provide appropriate care to patients of all ages, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Identify patients using two patient identifiers, check imaging orders for complete information, and assess risk of pregnancy prior to commencing with exam or procedure.
  • Perform iStat testing in accordance with established policies.
  • Operate power injectors in preparation for and administration of contrast media under the direct supervision of the supervising physician.
  • Follow infection control and safety guidelines, clean and disinfect scanner and exam rooms, and properly stock assigned rooms.
  • Coordinate all aspects of care for CT patients, including patient transportation, communication with nursing units, and maintenance of patient confidentiality.
  • Notify Lead CT Technologist or Manager when equipment malfunctions and place appropriate BioMed ticket.
  • Maintain and model Nuvance Health values, demonstrating regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Requirements:

  • American College of Radiology (ARRT) CT Certification.

Location: Vassar Brothers Medical Center
