TLC Nursing is currently seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Position Overview

The travel nurse will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the catheterization lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, reviewing their medical history, medications, and allergies to ensure readiness for procedures.
  • Preparation for Procedures: Prepare patients, equipment, and the procedure room, ensuring optimal positioning and readiness.
  • Monitoring: Vigilantly observe patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout the procedure.
  • Assisting Medical Staff: Support physicians during procedures by preparing and administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing equipment as required.
  • Post-Procedure Care: Provide comprehensive care following procedures, including monitoring for complications, administering medications, and managing the insertion site.
  • Documentation: Accurately record all relevant patient information, including procedures performed, vital signs, and any adverse reactions.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess strong patient care abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. A current registered nursing license, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, and prior experience in a catheterization lab setting are essential.
