Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our team at KISNER LAW LLC. As a key member of our personal injury team, you will provide critical support in all phases of the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with case management, including reviewing medical records and drafting medical chronologies
  • Prepare and file pleadings, answer discovery, and conduct research
  • Interact with clients, insurance carriers, courts, and medical provider offices
  • Manage cases from inception to resolution, including scheduling depositions and IME appointments
  • Issue witness/trial subpoenas and maintain and organize electronic case files
  • Provide general administrative support, including generating and sending correspondence and documents
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of paralegal experience in personal injury and workers compensation
  • Expert level proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat/Power PDF
  • E-filing experience in Maryland, DC, and PACER
  • Typing speed of at least 85 wpm
  • Familiarity with OneDrive and case management software
  • Advanced knowledge of personal injury law procedures, regulations, and the litigation process
  • Experience with Workers Compensation claims process in MD and DC is preferred
