Job Summary

The Laborer position at LPX Group is a dynamic role that requires a strong work ethic and ability to perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for ensuring construction projects are completed to specifications and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Foreman and team members.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure construction projects are completed to specifications and in a timely manner.
  • Carry out construction projects, which may require the operation of a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Maintain a clean job site, pick up all tools and equipment, and secure the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
  • Unload and load construction materials.
  • Be flexible and willing to learn and use new skills quickly.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in construction work or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies preferred.
  • Willing to work long hours if necessary.
Skills and Specifications
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to the work schedule.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience working effectively in a team environment.
