Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient medical records to identify and code Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) risk adjustment data.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and compliant coding practices.
  • Develop and implement effective coding and documentation guidelines to support risk adjustment initiatives.
  • Provide training and education to healthcare providers on risk adjustment coding and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines related to risk adjustment coding.
Requirements
  • CPC/CPMA/CRC/CCS-P/CCS/RHIA or RHIT certification.
  • 3 years of experience in Medicare risk adjustment coding.
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
