The Senior Logistics Support Specialist will act as the primary logistics liaison for both internal and external stakeholders involved with our F-35 aircraft. This role requires the candidate to be the Lockheed Martin expert in inventory management within warehouse settings and to provide insights to senior management regarding key performance indicators and logistics metrics. Strong project management and interpersonal skills are essential, as the environment is dynamic and fast-paced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) support and coordinating with the Operations Support Center.
  • Identifying and resolving supply chain management issues raised by customers.
  • Leading initiatives for root cause analysis and process enhancements.
  • Assisting customers with clarifications on Part Numbers and National Stock Numbers.
  • Guiding customers in identifying and processing hazardous materials, shelf life items, and electronic sensitive devices.
  • Providing effective material survey support and managing nonconformance and quarantine issues.
  • Responding to urgent customer requests necessary for mission support, including after-hours assistance.
  • Interfacing with customers to provide support and advice.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess at least an Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to employment, with the ability to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

The following qualifications are essential for consideration:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Logistics and Warehouse Inventory Management.
  • Experience with MICAPS and high-priority requisition support.
  • Familiarity with Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or Supply Chain Management principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in data analysis and metric development.

Desired Skills:

The following skills are advantageous but not mandatory:

  • Experience as an F-35 Field Service Representative, including import/export customs knowledge.
  • Familiarity with management systems such as SAP and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS).
  • Experience in training and supervising a diverse workforce.
  • Certification in hazardous materials shipping.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates a government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship is required for consideration.

Work Environment: This role is full-time and will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule: Lockheed Martin offers various work schedules to provide flexibility, including standard and condensed workweeks.
