Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at OrthoCarolina. As a Diagnostic Imaging Professional, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality radiographic images for our physicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Clean and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring it is in working order and reporting any malfunctions to the Radiology Manager.
  • Prepare and process radiographic images, including logging procedures and related paperwork.
  • Assist with patient flow and transportation between examination modules and the Radiology department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the American Medical Association.
  • Minimum of one year experience as an x-ray tech with an orthopedic background.
  • Fluoroscopy experience.
  • Registered Radiology Tech by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) or ARRT registry eligible.
  • Current CPR certification recommended.
