About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Maintenance Management Trainee to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a Maintenance Management Trainee, you will be responsible for learning and developing the skills necessary to become a successful Maintenance Leader within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in seven rotations over nine to twelve months, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of maintenance operations.
  • Work alongside experienced supervisors and technicians to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Develop strong leadership skills, including effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with your manager to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Meet and exceed customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of team management experience in an environment with strong operational metrics.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with ability to obtain a CDL.
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and web-based applications preferred.
