Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' cardiovascular health.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure education and support.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient practice environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in departmental goals, policies, and projects, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide on-call emergency coverage for Cardiovascular procedures, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire.
  • ACLS certified within 1 year.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Critical Care setting.
  • Previous Cath Lab experience, EPIC EMR system experience, and Apollo Documentation knowledge are highly desirable.
